Mount Cook Day 4

27th June 2019
Mount Cook Day 4: last full day today of activities including zip wire, team challenge, survival, wall climbing and dance mania, culminating in a 'last night' disco. Weather was wonderful from about midday. Throughout all of the activities Mr Pearse, Mr Tong and myself could not help but continue to be impressed with the amount of talent our young people have. For example, Finley did so well overcoming his fear of heights by managing the zip wire twice and he absolutely loved it! Logan really understood how to give positive praise in the team challenge.Hannah was so quietly kind and supportive to her group and the members of Wooler Scouts did themselves proud in the survival session. Finally, Mr Pearse and I spent some time trying to capture a photograph of a cinnabar moth, which we have also uploaded along with the rest of the day's adventures. One last breakfast, (the food has been excellent) one last activity, then the coach home at 11.00 - ready for the end of school at 15.35...get those washing machines ready!
